The BeeЯRock Festival VOL. VII raises more than €6,000 for medical research

On May 19, as part of the festivities in honor of Sant Pasqual de Vila-real, the BeeЯRock Vol. VII festival was held. An event that is now almost a tradition in the city’s festivities and that has a charitable nature, since all the benefits obtained go to medical research on Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophy 1F/D2 and HIV. We are happy to announce that just over 6,000 euros were raised for this purpose, thanks, especially, to the collaboration of the Vila-real City Council which, through the Department of Fiestas, has collaborated with the festival expenses as well as the financial contribution from the sponsors and of course, to the drinks at the bar and the donations from the attendees.

It should be noted that this edition featured performances by Mama Ladilla and Gigatron, with their 25th anniversary tour, as headliners, joined by the concerts of Malos Vicios and La Malavida, being a resounding success since from the first hours of the festival there was a large audience enjoying quality music and a good atmosphere. “We are happy that BeeЯRock has once again been a success and although we suffered from the weather forecasts, in the end the weather respected us. And all the bureaucratic problems we had in the weeks leading up to the previous edition served as an accelerated master for this year to do better if possible”, indicates the president of the Association, Abrahán Guirao. The event was broadcast on Guirao’s Twitch channel, where it can be viewed delayed and each concert separately is also available on his YouTube channel.

Guirao affirms that he is eager for the eighth edition to arrive and assures that group names are already being evaluated, although “every year it is more difficult to surpass us”. “The words of the people during and after the festival, seeing how much the attendees enjoyed themselves and the fact that people came on purpose from so many parts of Spain encourages us and gives us strength for the next edition”, values the president of the Association.
