Conquistando Escalones brings the Luis Fabra and Danny Boy-Rivera show to Castellón
The Conquistando Escalones Association is using humour once again to promote medical research in favour of Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophy 1F/D2. Thus, next November the proposal Mochila al pasado will land in the province, with Castellón native Luis Fabra and Danny Boy-Rivera. The event will be on Sunday 24 November, at 7:00 pm, at the Teatre del Raval in Castellón and tickets are already on sale for a donation of 12 euros, plus administration fees through the Servientradas portal, although they can also be purchased in person (in the next few days we will announce the points of sale). They can also be purchased at the box office for a donation of 15 €.
The president of Conquistando Escalones, Abrahán Guirao, points out that “although it is difficult to bring artists who are trendy and fill large venues, especially for an association that seeks to raise funds without having subsidies to do so, we are very excited to be able to count on Danny and Luis, who will play at home, and we hope that people will be just as excited and hopefully the public will sell out the tickets. “In addition, the head of the entity wants to thank the support and collaboration of the Castellón City Council, especially the Department of Social Welfare, to make this performance possible and for its support of the work of Conquistando Escalones.
Mochila al pasado is a comedy show by the creators of the successful humor and history podcast, Luis Fabra and Danny Boy-Rivera, who bring to the stage the most historical anecdotes with the same intention as always: to make you laugh your head off with the most stupid nonsense of humanity. If you think you are an idiot, it will cheer you up to know that the ancients were much more so.
Luis Fabra is a contributor to the Cuatro TV show Todo Es Mentira, but he has been sporting his moustache on screen since he made the leap to Comedy Central in 2013 with his monologues, to which we must add his prolific career as a scriptwriter on successful shows such as La Resistencia, HomoZapping or several editions of the Goya Awards gala. Danny Boy-Rivera, also trained at Comedy Central, has taken his humour outside our borders to the Haags Comedy Festival (Holland), the Bogotá International Humour Festival on Caracol TV (Colombia) or on his tour of the Balkans (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia). Among the latest things that have marked his career is offering his nudes (and his scripts) to David Broncano’s programme.
We are looking for sponsors
And with the aim of raising as much money as possible for medical research, we are opening the campaign to add sponsors to these events. Guirao highlights that this proposal “brings back the value of the province of Castellón and offers citizens the chance to have fun while collaborating with our cause, medical research into Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophy 1F/D2.” In addition, the head of Conquistando Escalones indicates, “for all this to go ahead we need sponsors” while reminding that collaborating with these events is also positive for companies as it increases their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and “let’s not forget that we are an NGO declared of Public Utility by the Government of Spain and donations have significant tax breaks.”
If you want to be one of these companies that help us find the cure and boost your CSR, contact us on the phone 646 040 968 or email administracion@conquistandoescalones.org. Being supportive never had so many advantages!
