Luis Fabra and Danny Boy-Rivera’s ‘Backpack to the Past’ raises more than 2,100 euros for research

8,468. This is the number of minutes of research into Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophy 1F/D2 that we will be able to cover from Conquistando Escalones thanks to the show Mochila al pasado by Luis Fabra and Danny Boy-Rivera, which managed to raise 2,117 euros. The artists won over the audience at the Teatre del Raval in Castelló de la Plana with their humour when explaining anecdotes from other times and tested the audience’s knowledge on several occasions. A different and fun way to learn about historical events and characters, although there were also references to current situations.
From Conquistando Escalones we would like to thank all the people who made this performance possible and the positive impact for our association: the audience, nearly 270 people; the Department of Social Welfare of the Castelló City Council; to the production company Etiqueta Negra and the artists; to the technical staff of the Teatre del Raval and to the sponsors and collaborators (Dental Plus, Canseco Cerámicas, Herten, 440 Música y Artes, Alusilex, Fisteka, Promopublic and the British School of Vila-real).
Many thanks to everyone and see you next time!
