Conquistando Escalones participates in an educational day on functional diversity

The Conquistando Escalones Association has been today one of the participating entities in the commemorative day of the International Day of Functional Diversity (December 3) organized by the CEIP Concepción Arenal of Vila-real. Thus, nearly 200 children from all grades – from Infant 3 to 6th grade of Primary – have participated in the storytelling proposed by the center in which the book The tournament of his life has been the protagonist. Its author and president of Conquistando Escalones, Abrahán Guirao, has shared with students from 3 to 11 years old his experiences at school and when writing the book and there has also been time for the young people to convey any doubts they had about life with a disability.

From Conquistando Escalones we want to thank the entire educational community of Concepción Arenal for their commitment to this type of awareness-raising actions and for inviting us as one of the entities that took part in this event, as it has given us the opportunity to get closer and bring a message of integration to the youngest people in a relaxed way.
