We present our little great Felipe for the World Day of Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophies

As you know, the genetic mutation that causes Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophy to the members of Conquistando Escalones but also by the mutation in the so-called Transportin3 makes us immune to HIV, we are many people suffering it, all of us linked in blood and therefore, being family. But, as we told you at Christmas, in recent months have been discovered in various parts of Europe three cases without relationship between them and us, which have a mutation not exactly the same as ours, but very similar and also in the Transportin3.

One such case is that of Gabriella and Felipe, a mother and son residing in Hungary, whom we met in person and who are already an active part of Conquistando Escalones, both by volunteering for research and collaborating in fundraising.

Today, World Day of Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophies, we want to introduce you to our little great Felipe in a video in which he “conquers steps”. And he does it with the same strength and courage with which we fight every day to get the cure for our disease. Together we can get it!
