Solidarity snack at the ‘terreta’ Mini-Olympics

There is less to celebrate the terreta Mini-Olympics with which, from Conquistando Escalones, we want to promote two of the most typical products of our area. An event that will be held on March 24 with the first editions of two world championships: that of squeezing oranges and that of eating piles of frare but that will also be open to the general public.

The event will take place at the headquarters of the Celtic Submarí supporters club (Avda. Francia, 42), which has not hesitated to collaborate with the initiative. At 6:30 p.m. the doors will open so that those who wish can come and participate in a solidarity snack based on, how could it be otherwise, orange juice and piles of frare. Thus, for a voluntary donation, those interested will be able to sweeten their afternoon and collaborate with the medical research that we promote from the entity. And half an hour later, at 7:00 p.m., the tests will begin in which the participants must demonstrate the power of their arms and hands to squeeze oranges -they will not have juicers- and their voracity to gobble up piles. Thank the sponsor Tangerina Sin Filtros for contributing the oranges for this day. You can check the dynamics of both championships and the bases HERE.

Registrations, for a donation of 5 euros, will remain open until full capacity is reached through THIS LINK and the winners of each competition will also receive a commemorative trophy. The competition will be broadcast through the Twitch channel of the president of Conquistando Escalones, Abrahán Guirao, thanks to the Envidea team.

If you have any questions, contact us at comunicacion@conquistandoescalones.org or write to us on our social networks.

Proceeds from the event will go towards medical research seeking treatment and cure for Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophy 1F/D2 and HIV.
