The series ‘Abrahán con ene’ passes halfway through filming with the support of the Vila-real City Council

The series Abrahán con ene, starring the president of Conquistando Escalones, Abrahán Guirao and created by Sergi Tellols and Amèlia Barberà, surpasses the halfway point of the filming plan. The project, which arose around the idea of making life with a rare disease, Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophy 1F-D2, visible has taken advantage of several locations in Vila-real as sets. To this end, the city council has been actively involved with the transfer of several of the municipal spaces required by those responsible for the series and which they prefer to keep secret. Thus, the management of Abrahán con Jan wants to show the Vila-Realense council its gratitude for the facilities that have been provided to them by departments such as Culture, Sports or Social Services.

The town’s Culture Councilor, Noelia Samblás, visited the team in one of the recording sessions and thanked the creators of the series for their commitment to Vila-real for the filming. “I am sure that Abrahán will take the name of Vila-real very far and, on the part of the City Council, it is another example of our commitment to the local audiovisual sector that we have always supported.” For his part, Guirao points out that this audiovisual production, in addition to being a tool for disseminating the disease, raising funds and living with disabilities, is “living it as a great experience, different from everything I have done before and knowing wonderful people, with whom I am very comfortable working and I am having a lot of fun. I think the public is going to be surprised and enjoy a lot when it is screened.” Regarding the recording process, screenwriter and director Sergi Tellols states that “it is a very ambitious and intense project, recorded in a record time of 21 days with a small and young but very dedicated team. Many are living an experience of these characteristics for the first time, which is proving to be very enriching and of great learning.” In addition, Amèlia Barberà, scriptwriter and assistant director, adds that “the series has numerous locations and many characters, which is why it has become an ambitious project but one that we are solving thanks to the fact that we have a very good team and actors. dedicated and involved.”

Abrahán con ene plans to finish filming on August 31, the date from which post-production will begin, which will last until the end of 2023, and will culminate with the screening of the series.
