Are you joining an epic battle for medical research?

In just over two weeks, one of the most epic activities ever to take place in Vila-real will be taking place and will be coming to the city for the first time: the “Battle for Science”. This is the latest madness that we are launching from Conquistando Escalones and that, together with Tyris Wrestling, will offer us several wrestling matches, the sport-spectacle also known as catch or wrestling. Professional wrestlers will get into the ring in a day full of surprises and fun that will be held on June 8, starting at 6:30 p.m., in the J. B. Llorens pavilion with free entry. This event, like all those promoted by the Association, will raise funds for medical research into Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophy 1F/D2 (LGMDD2) so we are looking for sponsors to help us cover the costs of this evening to allocate as much money as possible to research. The day will also serve as the culmination of the solidarity campaign started with nine clubs in Vila-real (La Merla, Picú, El Bajocó, Els Morrofins, El Desori, Borratxo l’últim, La Penya Rekords, Sarau and Desbarat) so the Battle for Science will also serve to decide which club is the most supportive and committed to our cause, through a donation campaign that is still active, to grant it the recognition it deserves.
