Arteatro is planning an end-of-year performance to benefit Conquistando Escalones

The theatre and performing arts school Arteatro is back on stage, as it has done on previous occasions, with the aim of raising funds for the medical research that we promote from Conquistando Escalones. Thus, over the next few weeks Arteatro has scheduled three performances at the Teatre Auditori in La Vila Joiosa: The Doll with the Music Box, by the children’s group; The Extras, by the young students and, Presas, which will be performed by the adults.
The performance by the youngest children, The Doll with the Music Box, will start on Saturday 29th, at 5:00 p.m., and as explained by Arteatro, it is a comedy in which the actors and actresses “show us that every adventure involves a search, a learning process, a risk of entering into the unknown.” That day, the 29th, but a few hours later, at 8:30 p.m., it will be the turn of the youth group with Los Figurantes, a funny comedy that asks what would happen if, suddenly, the extras in a play decided to stop the performance. A revolution in the dressing rooms that comes to the stage and that poses the rebellion of extras and protagonists in their desire to equal their merits with all kinds of nonsense and extravagances. Finally, on Sunday the 30th, at 7:30 p.m., the adults promise to thrill the audience with Presas, a play that takes place in a women’s prison in post-war Spain run by nuns.
