Conquistando Escalones y Cultura present «En tierra extraña» (In a strange land) in Estepark

On November 25, the Rafael Beltrán Moner Municipal Music Auditorium in Vila-real will host, starting at 10:00 p.m., “En tierra extraña”, a musical theater play in which Diana Navarro puts herself in the shoes of Concha Piquer to imagine a meeting to the rhythm of verses and jazz with Federico García Lorca (Alejandro Vera) with the help of the poet and friend of both, Rafael de León (Avelino Piedad), a show for which “we hope to hang the sign of ‘there are no tickets’ “, the communication coordinator of Conquistando Escalones, Beatriz Salas, has advanced this morning.

The Association has presented this morning at the Estepark shopping and leisure park the next cultural event that it is organizing with the aim of raising funds for medical research into Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophy 1F/D2 and HIV. Salas was accompanied in the presentation by the director of Este Park, Mari Ángeles Palmí; the Councilor for Culture, Rosario Royo; and Cristian Iserte, family Banker of the Mediolanum entity.

Tickets, with a donation of €18 (advance sale) and €23 at the box office, are available on the SERVIENTRADAS WEBSITE and at the NU restaurant in Vila-real (Avenida del Cedre, 17). In addition, in Servientradas there is also a Row 0 available for those who want to collaborate with Conquistando Escalones but cannot attend the event.

“En tierra extrana” is carried out within the Solidarity Week of the Mediolanum Foundation and, it should be noted, that it is a “marvelous” production of the Spanish Theater and SOM, which has already carried out two seasons in Madrid with a “resounding” success. of public and critics and an “impressive” tour that will have a unique function in Vila-real.

Salas has highlighted the effort that has been made by the Association to be able to bring a production of these characteristics to Vila-real and has thanked the collaboration of “the different entities and companies that have collaborated and have been involved to make this event possible and its purpose is to raise funds for medical research, which is already at a very advanced point. Along these lines, it is worth noting the support of the Vila-real City Council; Mediolanum Bank; José Soriano Foundation; discessur; Canseco Ceramics; light me up; Vila-real Veterinary; Mavic Engineering, Salatal Club; Associates; East Park; Covalca; Bogart; Promopublic; calcsicova; diesel; Hotel Bersoca; Zero Volume; Els Flamencs Grocs; Óptica Tárrega 40 and Port de Castelló Foundation.

For her part, the Vila-real Councilor for Culture, Rosario Royo, stressed that “the town hall will always lend a hand in all the solidarity actions of the Association that involve an approach to culture; give visibility and become aware of the need to investigate”.

Likewise, Cristian Iserte, family banker of the Mediolanum bank, has indicated that the collection obtained thanks to “En Tierra Extraña”, the Fondazione Medionalum -the bank’s Italian parent company- “will double it, up to a maximum amount of €5,000”, therefore that has encouraged “buying the tickets and holding a full house at the Vila-real Auditorium”.

Meanwhile, the director of Estepark, Mari Ángeles Palmí, has indicated that among the objectives of the retail park is to “continue strengthening ties with Vil-real entities such as Conquistando Escalones, which carry out such notorious actions.”
