CASDA and Conquistando Escalones launch the campaign spot “HIV also saves lives”

Today we launch the spot of the campaign “HIV also saves lives” that we presented a few weeks ago with the help of CASDA (Citizen Association against AIDS of Castellón). A video that has the participation of volunteers from both entities and with the narration of the dubbing actor Claudio Serrano, known for giving voice to internationally renowned actors such as Christian Bale in the role of Batman or Ben Affleck and characters such as Otto Mann, from The Simpson. The spot explains how the presidents of CASDA, Manuel de Gregorio Cortés, and that of Conquistando Escalones, Abrahán Guirao, met, as well as the links that unite both entities.

The campaign launched by CASDA for the benefit of Conquistando Escalones aims to raise 25,000 euros, until December when International AIDS Day is commemorated, although the ideal figure to reach would be 100,000 euros, since it is the amount necessary to promote the first clinical trial in humans of a possible treatment for Limb-girdle Muscular Dystrophy 1F/D2 suffered by some of the members of Conquistando Escalones and whose genetic mutation makes them immune to HIV, hence the advances in research can benefit millions of people around the world .

This spot, recorded at the NU restaurant in Vila-real by professionals from Envidea Producciones and directed by Sergi Tellols, will also be screened during the Rototom Sunsplash celebration because, as we announced a few days ago, “HIV also saves lives” is the campaign chosen by the reggae festival to be held from August 16 to 22 in Benicàssim as a beneficiary action for the collection of solidarity cups for the event.

At the end of the video there is a QR to be able to make donations but the direct link for those who want to collaborate with the campaign: https://www.migranodearena.org/reto/el-vih-tambi-n-salva-vidas.
